Jared Eisner · VP of Engineering, SkAI

I lead engineering organizations, and I bring AI into how they work.

I am VP of Engineering at SkAI. I have built and run multi-team engineering organizations on complex SaaS products, from the database to the user interface, in Java since 2004.

Two ways I can help

AI leadership

Bring AI into how teams build

AI-assisted planning and delivery, and internal AI tooling for engineers, with people still accountable for the result.

Engineering leadership

Run engineering that delivers

Multi-team organizations that plan clearly and deliver predictably, led by leaders who are grown on purpose.

How I lead

  1. Make the work clear before it starts. Most delivery problems begin as vague requirements. I put structure around ambiguity so teams know what done looks like.
  2. Own the outcome, not the activity.Better planning, clear ownership expectations and consistent execution raise output and predictability.
  3. Grow leaders on purpose.Promotion plans and career paths for engineers and engineering leaders, written down and applied evenly.
  4. Use AI where it removes friction.I use AI for practical work such as turning requirements into epics and stories. Engineers review the result and own it.
  5. Stay close to the architecture.I support principal engineers with architectural clarity and strong design reviews across teams.
